How to make the syrop

Before you all will ask me for the recipe of the elderberryblossom syrop here it is :-)

I took 80 gr of blossom. This is after removing the large branches. Try to use only the very thin branches were the flowers are on. Put the blossom in a large bowl and add 1 sliced lemon (without the peel because of the chemicals or use biological ones). I also have put in one lime. Than at 1 litre of preboiled water that is cooled down to lukewarm. Leave this mixture for two days.

After two days filter the mixture through a towel. Let it boil and add one kilogram of sugar. Leave it boiling for few minutes untill all sugar is solved. Then pour it into bottles. You can also add some vanillesugar to it or half  a vanillestick or cinnamonstick while it is boiling.

I'm not sure how the taste will be cause this is my first try.

Elderberryblossom syrop

Today I picked the flowers of the elderberrytree that grows in our back garden make my first attempt to make syrop of it. For sure I like the way how it looks in the bottles.
I added some slices lemon to it. When I see the pics I get the feeling of summer. Alldo the summer weather seems to be far away. Can't wait to make the real syrop of it. I have to wait two days and then will boill the water with sugar. Maybe add some vanille to it. Even saw a recepie with cinnamon. Hope my girls will not be to scared to taste the sirop.

I fell in love with............

About 3 weeks ago I saw a cute pictures on internet and fell in love with this lovely maine coon kitten.

Since 2 weeks she is living with us. She is now 11 weeks old. We choose the name Dunya for her. It's a combination of the names of our other two cats. Our oldest cat the girl gave then nickname Dunnie (in english maining skinny) and our other cat is called Yara. So when you combine it you get Dunya. Yara and Dunya became close friends and sleep and play all the time together. When they sleep together Dunya finds it so cosy that even tries to search for milk. Here you can see them sleep together.

Picture of cabinet

I kept you waiting a long time but here is finally a picture of my new cabinet. In meanwhile I took all the paint off from the upper part. So almost ready to start painting.
